High level of productivity and creativity are maintained in Japanese manufacturing. But the most important issue in the management office work is the need to create and produce reliable information speedily at a low cost. There are some studies related to this paper such as “Criteria on the Personnel Number for Minimum Working Hours in the Group Work” (1), “Relationship between an Existence of Team Leader and the Working Hours” (2). But these are based on experiments with children’s desk work in the elementary school. This is insufficient for the consideration of office work in general. This paper deals with the necessity of raising productivity and creativity of Japanese office work, taking into consideration actual conditions in the workplace. The first section considers a change in the perception of the problem and issues and the demands of managers. The second section is concerned with the lack of ideas. 内容記述 | One of the issues in the organization of the Japanese office is the need to raise productivity and creativity. High level of productivity and creativity are maintained in Japanese manufacturing. But the most important issue in the management office work is the need to create and produce reliable information speedily at a low cost.
