 note = {新しい感染症の発生が，つぎつぎに報道されている。一時期，人類は感染症を撲滅したと思った。しかし，そのころ，エイズなど，新たな感染症（新興感染症）が出現した。結核など，一度は制圧したと思われた感染症の再流行（再興感染症）も問題となっている。東日本大震災などの経験から，災害と感染症についても，関心が高まっている。腸内細菌叢（フローラ）と健康，さらにアレルギーと「衛生仮説」など，衛生学と感染症および微生物に関する話題について紹介と解説を試みた。, Outbreaks of new infectious diseases are being reported one after another.  Once it was thought that infectious diseases would be eradicated in the near future.  However, just then new infectious diseases such as AIDS appeared.  Furthermore, some infectious diseases that had previously been under control started spreading again.  Cases of disaster-related pneumonia were reported.  The influence of intestinal floral bacteria on health are currently being studied in many fields, and “hygiene hypotheses” related to allergies are being proposed and tested.},
