These documents comprise collection development policies for religious materials and library policies of meeting rooms, exhibits, and space for displays for religious groups.  Accommodating religious beliefs held by patrons and employees is also reviewed.  Cultural analysis and deep understanding of American libraries necessitate a consideration of religious aspects in the United States for Japanese researchers.
