The 2017 UK Digital Strategy aimed at digital inclusion and the skills everyone needs to become involved.  In this paper, we confirm the issues of information ethics in the UK and examine issues for a sustainable information society.  In particular, responsible research and quantum-computer innovation has recently attracted interest.  The gender and digital divides are considered important problems, and the UK’s initiatives are examined.
