This book is a positive study that Christian groups shared the framework of collective memories about the Holy Land.  Although descriptions of the saint place of the New Testament and the literature are slightly different, the spatial framework remains the same, that is, they demonstrate the location of the saint place in the Holy Land.\n　 Contrary to the large amount of Halbwachs’ studies, very few of them are Japanese translations.
