However, skepticism about the educational effectiveness of this pedagogy persists because its success depends on the autonomy and initiative of students. The author’s previous teaching experience has evidenced that some students take inordinate time to obtain lecture materials representing the course standards. Procuring the prescribed study resources facilitates the comprehension of curricular content and necessitates the allotment of adequate study time. The present study could not confirm the correlation between the grade evaluation and the time taken to acquire lecture materials.
