Hall pioneered in the United States in the 19th century. O. Chrisman, a student of S. Hall, proposed a new concept, “Paidology”, defined as “the scientific study of the child”. This notion was introduced to Japanese academia by Yujiro Motora and has been the basis of various activities in child studies in Japan. Currently, 19 colleges and universities in Japan have child studies. However, those departments have various names and different curriculums. The present paper investigates the present situation and problems and analyzes their historical backgrounds.}, pages = {29--41}, title = {大学における「児童学」に関する一考察}, volume = {第24巻}, year = {2011}, yomi = {タザワ, カオル} }
