Many economists have tried to combine the concept of employed labor with the concept of demand for labor, because this is very significant for the theory of economics. However, it had been very difficult to merge them into one concept. Dr. Koshimura, who was a professor and president of Yokohama National University, succeeded in combining them. He published the book A Paradigm of Quaternary Values in 1989.
