Differences in positions of trees in adolescent drawings made in the early 1980s and positions of trees in adolescent drawings made in the late 1990s were examined.  This study was based on the following assumptions: (1) there would be differences between the amount of space used in the positions of trees in drawings made in the early 1980s and drawings made in the late 1990s; (2) there would be differences in the positions of the crowns of trees in the central drawing space between drawings made in the early 1980s and drawings made in the late 1990s; (3) there would be differences in positions of tree trunks in the central drawing space between drawings made in the early 1980s and drawings made in the late 1990s; (4) there would be differences in the positions of tree roots in the central drawing space between drawings made in the early 1908s and drawings made in the late 1990s.  The conclusion of this study is that there are significant differences in positions of whole trees, tree crowns, tree trunks or tree roots in the central drawing space between drawings made in the early 1980s and drawings made in the late 1990s As a result, it is likely that the reliability of Baumtests will not be confirmed, yet further study to confirm the reliability and validity of Baumtests is needed.},
