 note = {The collapse of the bubble economy sent shock waves through the management of software houses. At one time software house sales grew about ten percent annually, but their annual sales now register minus growth. It is necessary, therefore, to consider anew the growth and development of software houses. That is to say, it is necessary to consider the balance between quantitative expansion and qualitative improvement. The present study, building on part 1, investigates the growth and development of software houses in respect of scale and structure. In particular, part 2 develops further the Scale-Structure Portfolio method and seeks to locate “present status” and “ideal status” within the Scale-Structure Phase Pattern.},
