| 内容記述 | 本論文では，フィンランドにおける高福祉国家の形成に関するキリスト教の影響及びその歴史的特質を，フィンランド・キリスト教史及びキリスト教社会福祉史の観点から論じている。フィンランドでは，福音ルーテル教会を国教として導入した准国家として形成された当初から公的行政と教会の協働・連携が為されていた。ただ包括的なものとはなり得ず，その不十分さを補足する以上の形で展開されたのが女性キリスト者らによるディアコニッセの働きであった。また，ルーテル教会外部から生じた自由教会によるヴォランタリーの福祉活動も大切な役割を果たした。現在の高福祉制度へと至る過程にはこれらのキリスト教的働きが不可欠に存在しており，また今日においても重要な役割を担っている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this article, I examine the influence of Christianity on the formation of the expansive welfare state in Finland and its historical context in relation to the histories of Christian social welfare and of Finnish Christianity. Since the formation of Finland as a semi-state with the Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELC) as the state church, mutual cooperation, as well as collaboration, between the public administration and the church has been the norm. However, because the social welfare system was not comprehensive to begin with, deaconesses expanded the sphere of their labor to compensate for the shortfall. In addition, the social welfare activities of volunteers from the free church, played a significant role. From a comprehensive perspective, the work of the church was indispensable to the development of the current expansive welfare system in Finland, and they continue to play a vital role today. | |||||
